This is an update post about my 3 and a half month experience with gapbuster. If you still don’t know what is gapbuster, you can refer to my previous post at here ( Get Paid To Eat And Shop With Gapbuster).

After joining gapbuster for about 3 months, I can say that gapbuster is really a company suitable for secondary and university students to earn some money doing things they enjoy! I have completed one assignment in Oct and another several assignments in December and January.

It is enjoyable to eat and shop while get paid for it. The feeling of getting paid for eating and filling car petrol is so great. I have been paid by gapbuster for the assignment I completed in October and December. According to their policy, assignment completed in a given month will be paid before the 24^th of the following month.So far, they really pay me on time! Below is the account statement which shows that I received payment from them ( in the red rectangle).

If you are a secondary or university students who hope to get some extra pocket money, this might be the right job for you. It is also suitable for anyone who already has a job. But there is no free lunch in this world. You will have to do a evaluation for them every time you finish a survey.One more thing is that you must be honest in doing the survey.

Recently , I blogged about the Samsung ambassador program which offers blogger to test drive their products for free and own it with half the market price. ( link to the previous post about samsung ambassador)Two days ago, I received an email from Samsung ambassador again regarding my application to be their test driver. I was asked to update my blog link and they will judge our blog.
I was surprise to receive an email from them because I was just applying for fun. The email I received from Samsung Ambassador shows that they are really serious to give out their products for blogger as a free product to test drive. I have updated my blog link but I don’t think I stand a chance to test drive Samsung product. We all know that Firefox is an open source web browser which users do not need to pay a single cents to use it. I personally like firefox pretty much because they always improve and upgrade their browser to meet the high expectation of their users. In order to change, modify and upgrade their browser frequently, they need a vast number of programmers working everyday. Now the question arise. How an open source software like firefox get money from to pay its software programmer and also its company operating costs?

If you think some one donate to firefox, you are not 100% correct.. For your info, firefox earn $US55million a year before tax. Yes, it is $US55million a year. Amazing right?!?!

How firefox earns that much?
Definitely, the earning doesn't come from users as it is an open source web browser. We all know that firefox has an online store which sells firefox products like T-shirt and so on. But this online store is not the main contribution for the holy shit earning of $US55million per year. Firefox get almost all of its earning from online search engine companies like google. According to Mozilla CEO Mitchell Baker, firefox get paid including google search engine in their search box. Besides google, Firefox also includes other search engines in their web browser and get paid by those search engine companies. All these search engine companies are the main "culprit" who contribute $US55million earning per year for firefox.

Type any word in the search box and press search. Next, you will land on your result pages with the images you search for. So far, what I have been asking you to do are normal thing which you have done them for thousands time.

Samsung Ambassador is one of Samsung special program for bloggers. If you own a blog, you can apply to be their special ambassador and test-drive their products without paying or purchasing it.

To be their ambassador, first you need to go to this website (link) and apply for it by clicking " I want to be a Samsung ambassador " at the right hand side. You will need to fill in a short form and it is done. You might get the chance to test-drive MP3 player, hand phone, camera and other electronic products manufactured by Samsung for two weeks. After that, you might get an option to purchase it with half of the market price.

Take note that not all applicants will be approved. But I think it worth us a try to apply for it. Who know you might get it?

How people get paid by joining online "get paid" program ?

There are basically two reasons why you never get paid. First, the program which you have been joining are just scam which hold your payment every time you reach minimum cash out with the reason " cheat". The second reason is, you don't have big number of referral or down line.

What I am trying to say is in order to have a passive income by joining all these program, you really need to refer or recruit many members as your down line. In most of the case, you will earn some commission by recruiting new members. The commission you earn vary from each program.

Online Get Paid Program which I have joined that offer referral program.
To explain further, i will take those program which I joint as example. Emailcashpro which is a company based in Singapore pay you when you refer other people to join EmailCashPro. You will receive 50% of your referral's earnings on level 1, 20% of your referral's earnings on level 2, 15% of your referral's earnings on level 3 and 10% of your referral's earnings on level 4. When you manage to recruit 20 members, you will get $5 credited into your account.

The second program which I would take as an example is Yourvoice online survey. Yourvoice online survey is actually a reputable company owned by the well-know marketing research company called AC Nielsen. YourVoice pay you RM 3 for every member you recruited. I have earned about RM 100 from AC Nielsen and I have cashed out RM 30 so far. ( Prove Here). Once again, you need to have many downline in order to earn fast. For Yourvoice, I have been paid for RM 3 for 20 referrals, which translate into RM 60 of earning. ( It is proven, click here ). However, recently I started to feel suspicious toward their referral program. I help my other friends to recruit members through websites and my blog but my friends account never show any new referral under him. I tried to file an enquiry to Yourvoice and they never reply. I also don't know what happen to them. I can't say they are scam because I am the one who got their payment before.

In short, if you are serius in earning money online, then you must be serious in recruiting more members under you. If not, you might need several years to reach minimum cash out.

Comparison between several online advetisement company.

Some major online advertisement companies that I have joined before are Google Adsense, Nuffnang, Project Wonderful, Bidvertiser, Widget Bucks and Adverlets. Below are my personal opinion about all these companies.

Google Adsense ( currently the largest online advertisement serving company)
Earning : Google adsense is not only the largest online advertisement serving company, but it is also the company which pays you the most. Normally you will get more than $0.1 for one click and that is in US dollar. It means that you are getting at least RM 0.35 for one click and this is the minimum. Most of the people use to get $ 0.2 to $0.5 . The most unbelievable fact is that google adsense even pay up to more than $10 for one click according to some bloggers.
Reliability : Do you think one of the biggest technology company in the world which is listed on US stock market is a scam.
Advertisement shown : A wide variety of advertisements which depends on the keyword of your posts. Advertisement is always running and never stop.
Loading Speed : Fast

Nuffnang ( Available only in South East Asia)
Earning : If I am going to give a rating to nuffnang earning, i will give moderate. Nuffnang pays less than google, bidvertiser and widget bucks. If you are a Glitterati member, you normally get paid RM 0.25 for one click.
Reliability : This small advertisement company in south east asia manage to maintain a good reputation among bloggers. It is not difficult to know that this company really pay with the vast number of bloggers who posted their cheque received from Nuffnang.
Advertisement Displayed : If you have a lot of traffic on your blog, you will love Nuffnang because Nuffnang love you too. However if you visitors is not many, Nuffnang might not love you that much. You might find out that there is no ads displayed on you blog except nuffnang logo. ( Free advertisement for Nuffnang)
Loading Speed : Sometime super slow.

Widget Bucks.
Earning : Moderate.
Reliability : In term of reliability, I should say Widget Bucks is pretty much like Adverlets. This company have frustrasted many publishers and they are slow in reponsing to complaint. Some even said that they doen't pay.
Advertisement displayed : I pretty much like the design of their advertisement display on our websites. However a design is not our main criteria in choosing which ads serving companies to join. Although the design is good, however if you are a publishers from outside US, you hardly get paid even someone click on the ads because according to them, clicks from users like south east asia are valueless.
Loading Speed : Moderate.

Bidvertiser:
Earning : Moderate.
Reliability : no comment
Advertisement Displayed : The layout of the advertisement is almost 100% like Adsense.
Loading Speed : Fast.

Project Wonderful
Last but not least, it is Project Wonderful which I just found out not long time ago. Since not many people know about project wonderful, I would like to describe a bit about how it works. In short, project wonderful does not pay you for click, instead it pays you for time the ads are displayed. Once you join Project wonderful as a publishers, other advertisers will find your blog. If they want to advertise on your blog, they will bid for it. If the bidding value is $ 0.10, it means the advertisers need to pay $0.1 for each day his ads running on your blog. For the advertisement fee, you will get 75% while project wonderful will get 25%.
Earning : Moderate
Reliability : so far so good.
Advertisement Displayed : Advertisements displayed are depend on the advertisers.
Loading Speed : Slow.

In short, for a blogger with low traffic volume, Nuffnang and project wonderful seems to be a better option. Nuffnang's pay out is set at RM 50 while project wonderful minimum cash out is $ 10.

This is an email which I received from a friend of mine. The reliability of the email is not known but the pictures really look real.

It is said that there exist a human processing factory in Russia which processes human beings like animals. Their main purpose is to get human bodies' valuable organ such as kidneys and eyes' cornea and sell it globally. The human part of body are sold for organ transfer and research purpose in various Universities. Those dead bodies are collected from drunk drivers who died in car accidents, people staying alone who had frozen to death in the cold winter, criminals and unclaimed body. I do think that this type of factory really exist. It is not a surprise if this factory is found in Russia as Russia is a country which involves in many illegal activities. Although this thing might be disgusting and cruel, however if we think the other way round, it also benefited hundreds or thousands of people who rely on the organ taken from these dead bodies. Since the persons are already dead and no body claim it, why don't put them in good use which will benefit the mankind? Further more, Universities students and researchers rely on these unclaimed dead bodies to do experiment and research on human bodies.

How Project Wonderful benefits bloggers with low traffic volume.

After joining project wonderful for about 20 days, I have completely remove google ads from my blog and focusing on Project Wonderful and Nuffnang as a source of income for my blog. Why Project Wonderful should be one of the option to monetize your blog if you have low traffic volume? Below is my point of view.

Firstly, project wonderful has a low pay out, which is only about $ 10. Google requires a minimum payout of about $100 and it is a bit too much for blogger with low traffic volume. It might take several years time to reach $ 100 earning.

Secondly, to get a lot of income from adsense, you will need a very high traffic volume. For other ads publishing company like Nuffnang, Adverlets, and so on, you also need high visitors volume to earn a lot of money. This is because those companies pay you depends on how many clicks you get from the visitors visiting your blog. On the other hand, Project wonderful work the other way. It pays you depend on the time which the ads are displayed on your blog. In other words, clicks are not counted. As long as some one is willing to advertise on your blog, you will earn. However, you still need to have some visitors so that publishers are willing to choose your blogs to display their ads.

How Project Wonderful Works?
Once you join Project wonderful as a publishers, other advertisers will find your blog. If they want to advertise on your blog, they will bid for it. GapBuster is an international company which specialise in helping other companies to increase customers' satisfaction and shopping experience. Some of their clients in Malaysia include Mcdonald, KFC and pizza hut. GapBuster employs workers who are called as mystery shoppers across Malaysia and also in other countries to survey and examine how the employees of a company work and how a shop is maintained.

When you register with them to become their members, you first need to undergo a short learning through their websites. After that, you can start applying for assignment. Lets say if you apply to survey a pizza outlet, you will be given two intruction manuals on what to do and you have to 100% understand it. You have to choose a date yourself. If they approve your application, you have to stick to the date choosen by you and visit the outlet withing the time frame given. Normally they will tell you what to order in the instruction manual and they will pay you for it. They normally pay you RM 40 for doing assignment for pizza hut and RM 20 for KFC.

After surveying, you have to submit your survey within 8 hours from the time you survey. Submition will be done through their website. They will pay you the next month after you have done a certain assignment and they will pay you monthly. Your payment will be deposited straight into your bank account.

As someone is curious about how much I have earned, hence I write this post to update what I have gained so far.

I have earned about RM 100 from Your Voice online survey. I have redeemed RM 30 Digi reload card ( click here to see the prove) and i will redeem the rest RM 70 in the short term. Do we really can earn from doing online survey? My answer is yes. Most of you must be skeptical at this because there are a lot of others online survey companies which are scam. This is a program which I just joined recently but it has become one of the program which i highly recommend. ( Click here to go to my previous post about www.youthsays.com). Although I just joined it for less than ten days, but I have earned more than RM 4. See the screenshot below. I earned money through youthsays by referring members, broadcasting, and filling survey.

Value investing ( intrinsic investing ) Versus Speculation

Generally, investing can be categorized into value investing( investment), and speculation. Value investing involves choosing a company which is said to be underpriced by fundamental analysis. Some criteria to be looked into when doing fundamental analysis are PER ( price to earning ratio), NTA ( Net Tangible Asset), Dividend Yields, Price to book ratio and so on. Some great investment gurus who practice value investing include Ben Graham and Warren Buffet. According to Warren Buffet who owns Berkshire Hathway, the share of a company is only worth to buy if the share's price is less than their intrinsic value. Intrinsic value is the value which a company should worth by looking at its fundamental data and future prospect. It is the value investing or intrinsic investing which bring Warren Buffet to be one of the world richest man nowadays.

Opposing to value investing is speculation or gambling. One of the difference between speculation and investing is the way to pick up a stock. Value investing ( intrinsic investing ) depends on fundamental analysis while speculation depends heavily on technical analysis. Technical analysis looks at the market behavior, analysizes the trend of a certain stock in term of price and volume, and predict the short term stock's price. Technical analysis can be useful even if you are practicing value investing. Technical analysis provides useful information to tell you what is the best time to buy a share and what is the best time to sell it.

It is highly recommended to practice value investing rather than speculation. Value investing provides higher safety margin and a lower risk while speculation involves higher risk. Something with higher risk will definitely promise a higher return, but you have to bear the risk of losing all your hard earned money. Looking at the behavior of some of the great investors nowadays, majority of them adopt to value investing. However there are also some investors who are famous with speculation such as George Soros (financial speculator).

For beginners who just started learning how to invest in stock market, value investing should be practiced.

What is a stock market? A stock market is a virtual place where you can bid and sell the shares of a certain company. It is just like eBay where buyers bid a certain things from sellers and the things go to the highest bid. The only difference is there is no goods sold in stock market.

To start investing in stock market, you can go to register with any brokerage house or bank. You must be 18 years old and above to have your own account. After opening an account, you can start trading.

To buy a certain share, you first place your order in the market, if your order is matched, it means you manage to buy those share. It is not necessary to have money in your account before buying, however, if you do not have the sufficient money after three days to pay for the share which you bought, you will be forced to sell all your shares and any loss resulted from the selling have to be bear by you together with a certain amount of surcharge. This is what they call as force selling. Buying and selling in the duration of three days is called contra trading. If you earn, it is called contra gain and if you loss, it is called contra loss.

There is one unique thing which you can do in the stock market called short selling. Short selling means you sell a certain share which you do not own it. After that you buy back the amount of share which you sell. In other words, you sell before you buy. However short selling is not allowed in some cases and you might get fined for a certain amount of money if you are found doing shot selling.

Nowadays, trading share is pretty convenient compare to the old days. Just signed up for online trading service and you can start trading in front of your computer. Online trading is cheaper and more convenient compared to trading through remisiers and dealers. If you have decided to step into stock market, you can engage any brokerage firm such as OSK, HLE-broking, or other bank such as Public, Mayban, CIMB and so on.

I have no money -- How am I going to invest?
Definitely we all don't have much money, but we still can start with a small amount, for example RM 500. You can start with RM 500 to buy a company and gain some experience about investing in stock market. Those experience will never be gained from books or classrooms. About registration fee, it is only about RM 10 and it is one time payment.

At the age of 18, which is the min age to have your own trading account, is not too early to learn how to invest in stock market. In Malaysia, the passion to invest in stock market among teenagers are still weak but for other countries, some teenagers as young as ten years old have started to learn about stock market. It is time for the teenagers of Malaysia to pick up.

There is one more thing to share here. Do you know when Warren Buffet made his first investment in stock?

This is really amazing. After resigning all his party and government post following an outbreak of his sex video, the ultimate Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek surprised everyone by making through the MCA election to gain the deputy president's post.

Datuk Seri Dr Chua has managed to knock out Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan, who is the brother of the former MCA president, Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting. Below is the news quoted from TheStar online.

"In the race for the deputy president’s post Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek emerged victorious. The others vying for the deputy presidency were Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan, Datuk Donald Lim and Tanjung MCA deputy chairman Lee Hack Teik

The former vice-president quit all his party and government posts over a sex video recording of him in January. The outspoken leader saw his 25-year-old political career collapse overnight following wide circulation of the video.

Dr Chua, 61, whose manifesto read: ‘Be the Force of Change: Real Courage, Real Politics’, had said earlier that the 2008 MCA polls were to vote in those who could understand the situation of the community and nation, and effectively rebuild MCA and put it back on track."

I think this will be another record of MCA and Malaysia for having a xxxxxxx holding such a high position in one of the country's biggest party. So if you still think that Malaysian is not open minded enough, you are damn wrong.

Personally, i do not oppose a person who involved in a wide circulation sex video to hold important post in party and government. I personally like Dr chua rather than the brother of the former MCA president, Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan. Hope Dr Chua can bring some reform to MCA.

Although the building design may not looked as attractive as Burj Dubai, however it will be much taller than Burj Dubai, with height exceeding 1050 meters. The final height is still a secret. There is rumor saying that the building will be as tall as 1.6km. Crazy right?

Now the climax begin. Those amazing fact you have read above is just a nut or crap. Why? Because Japan is proposing to build another building, so called X-seed 4000 WITH THE HEIGHT Of ABOUT 4km.

Basement of the X-seed 4000 is a large integrated park.

It is about as tall as Mount Kinabalu in Sabah. It is estimated to be able to accommodate up to 1 millions people. Next time if you want to hike the Mount Kinabalu but your body is not fit enough, you can go to the X-seed 4000 instead of Mount Kinabalu since both of them have almost the same height.

Can You Beat Warren Buffet?

If you ask some investors out there about how much return they wish to get every year in investing, you will hear some responses which tell you that they would like to get more than 24 % per annual return. Some might even say they can or hope to achieve 50 or even 100% annual return. I am sure that only a few would say they are satisfy with an annual return of around 10 %. And how about you who are reading this now?

We all know that some great investor like Warren Buffet manage to get an annual return of about 24 % per year. This 24% annual return is the average annual return for a long time. This is one of the best record that one can achieve in this world. There is one people in wall street which manage to get an annual return of more than 30%, which is higher than Warren Buffet, however, if you calculate his average return for 20 years or up to 40 years, you will find out that actually he didn't even surpass Warren Buffet record. So as an ordinary person, what makes you think that you can do better than Warren Buffet or other great investors out there ?

Lets have a look at an annual return of 24%. If you have 100k at the age of 20 years old and you manage to maintain an annual return of 24% over 40 years, When you are at the age of 60 years old, you will have about 545,591,262. This is about 50 million. If i manage to do that , i will be quite satisfy already. I might also become Malaysia top richest guy. Good enough for me.

However, some people out there still can not understand this simple story. They want about 50% or even 100% of annual return. If we start with 100k, with 50% annual return in 40 years , we will get 70 000 000 000 ( 70 billion). You will become another world richest guy. Since Malaysia has so many investors who claim that they wish or they can do it, after 40 years from now, I think Malaysia might top the world richest list!! Funny?

At this moment, if you surf internet and find some investment classes in Malaysia, you will find out that some of the persons who offer the investment course claim that they are able to triple your profit in 1 years time, and what you need to do is just to attend their course for three days. Just in 3 days and you can earn several thousands or several hundreds thousand? If this is true, there will be no more poor people in this world. And if this is true also, we will have many new world richest guy. Might be there are a few manage to get 300% annual return, but it can only be done in a bull market, and they are going to lose all those money in the bear market.

Most of the people offering investment course are just another normal person like us who are trying to earn more. If they are so successful in investment, why still they want to offer such course? They will be busy and famous like Warren Buffet and have no time to entertain you. What I am trying to say is, never 100% believe in what you hear from those bull shit offering investment course. Some of them have many phD which you won't find the university offering the phD when you google it.

Lastly, I have a question for you, do you know phD stands for what?

After much speculation, finally Tune Air admitted that they are mulling plan to privatizing AIR ASIA at the price of RM 1.35 per share, which is about RM 0.80 higher then today's closing price.

However, Tune Air said that the option was still being developed and the plan to privatize AIR ASIA might change. Below is the news quoted from THE STAR BUSINESS.

PETALING JAYA: Tune Air Sdn Bhd, the major shareholder in AirAsia Bhd, is mulling plans to take the low-cost carrier private at an indicative price of about RM1.35 per share.

AirAsia said in a statement to Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday that Tune Air’s RM1.35 per share plan was subject to change depending on the market conditions at the point of decision.

It added Tune Air was continually exploring various options to optimise and expand its operations, especially during the current times due to the volatile fuel prices, business environment and the financial and capital markets.

“One option being considered by Tune Air is a potential privatisation exercise of AirAsia at an indicative price of about RM1.35 per AirAsia share, which is subject to change depending on the market conditions at the point of decision,” it added.

It said the option was still being developed and it was subject to the availability of financing on acceptable terms from financial institutions and other potential investors in the current challenging times, as well as conducive market and industry conditions.

AirAsia share price closed two sen higher to RM1.27 yesterday.

It seems like Bursa Malaysia is going to lost another gem if the privatization is launched. Although AirAsia is not among one of the stock that catch my attention, however i do believe that Air Asia will have a great future if AIR ASIA can survive this financial crisis.

Google preview is an add on for firefox users which enables images of the websites to be previewed together with the website link and description at the search result page. Before this, if you search for a word using google, you will arrived at the search result page with websites link and description. However, you will never know how is the website look like unless you click on it and visit it. With google preview, you will have an insight of the website before visiting it. Look at the screenshot below. It explain how google preview work.

Many people think that google preview only work for google. But actually, this add on also work for yahoo. So if you search using yahoo search engine, you will see images shown together with the description and the link of the website at the search result page.

I have personally tried out this brilliant add on from firefox and it is really great. Everytime when we want to click into a webpage at the google search result, it is like opening a door but don't know what is inside. With google preview add on, it provides us some insight or clue about the webpage.

Flying at about 125 mile per hour, Swiss man, Yves Rossy took about 13 minutes to cross the 22 mile English channel. He is now called the jet man and his next target is to cross the grand canyon.

SOUTH-EAST Asia largest’s cable and wire group, Leader Universal Holdings Bhd, has secured new orders, with an estimated value of RM700mil that is to be delivered over the next six months.

Group managing director and chief executive officer Sean H’ng said the group’s cable and wire products catered for the power and telecommunications sectors both in Malaysia and overseas.

He said: “We have exported almost RM340mil worth of cables and rods to Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East in the first six months of this year.”

The group had always maintained strong exports to balance its local sales, H’ng said.

Export sales currently accounts for about 30% of the total revenue of cable and wire divisions.

H’ng said local demand for cables had slowed slightly in the second quarter of this year, following the country’s general election, as well as some delays in the implementation of public sector projects.

He said: “The group expects local demand for its cable products to pick up possibly towards year-end and early 2009, based on the expected increase in infrastructure spending under the Ninth Malaysia Plan.

“There will be strong demand from the Bakun undersea cable project and the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) projects.”

He noted that the 12 hydroelectric dams to be built under the SCORE project would provide a positive stimulus for the demand of power cables and conductors.

For the Bakun undersea cable project, H’ng said: “There will be substantial demand for 500KV high voltage direct current (HVDC) overhead transmission lines both in Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia.

“We will bid for the project as Leader Universal has a good track record of manufacturing and supplying HVDC transmission lines,” he said.

H’ng said that Leader Universal would continue to improve its manufacturing capabilities to maintain its competitiveness and produce higher value added specialty cables to fetch better margins.

“We are looking at going upstream in our manufacturing activities to stay competitive,” he said.

Leader Universal reported a 19.5% increase in net profit at RM33.6mil for the first six months of 2008.

Revenue for the period under review rose 7.7% at RM1.32bil while its earnings per share was maintained at 7.69 sen.

On its power generation business, H’ng said Leader Universal’s new 200MW coal fired power plant in Sihanoukville, Cambodia was scheduled to be completed by 2012. “The power purchase and implementation agreements and government guarantee were executed in March this year,” he said.

H’ng also said that Leader Universal was actively looking for other power generation and transmission projects in Asia Pacific.

“The group is aiming to grow the power business to complement its core business in cable and wire.

“Concession business gives us the stability of income that complements well with our manufacturing businesses.”

Power generation business presently contributes about 8% of the total group’s revenue.

Its subsidiary, Universal Cable (M) Bhd, was the recipient of the Export Excellence Award in 2007 which was awarded by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

In the recent report issued by Integer Research of Britain, the group’s LEADER brand ranked 31st in the world and 12th in Asia of all major cable & wire companies by revenue, and 10th in Asia by net profit.

Bush has warned that the 700 billion rescue plan is vital to help the financial system right now and it should not be delay. However who will really benefited from the 700 billion bail out?

CEO at the wall street is responsible for the financial crisis, but why the taxpayers' money is used to solve problems caused by those rich CEO. The overriding question for congressional leaders was what to do next. Congress has been trying to adjourn so that its members can go out and campaign. "We are ready to continue to work on this," said Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., chairman of the House Financial Services Committee.

"The legislation may have failed; the crisis is still with us," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., in a news conference after the defeat.

Republicans blamed her scathing speech near the close of the debate — which attacked Bush's economic policies and a "right-wing ideology of anything goes, no supervision, no discipline, no regulation" of financial markets — for the current turmoil.

Frank said that was a remarkable accusation by Republicans against Republicans: "because somebody hurt their feelings, they decided to punish the country."

A White House spokesman said Bush was "very disappointed" in the vote.

The president will be meeting with members of his team later in the day "to determine next steps," said spokesman Tony Fratto.

This is not crazy, this is not bullshit. There is still no such thing now, but in the coming twenty years, we will see a stunning long and massive object erected from the surface of the earth upward into the sky to the outer space. It is not happening in the science fiction, it will happen in our real life and I cant wait to witness it.

Space elevator is long huge elevator which might be built from nanofiber. The nanofiber will be strong enough so that the whole elevator will not break apart. For now, the technology needed to manufacture the strong nanofiber in large scale is still no available. However, a Japanese company just announced their interest in researching about this and they expect the world first space elevator to be ready in twenty years.

Experience riding the space elevator.
Firstly, you need to go to the base of the elevator. Then, you will go into a small room in the elevator and when all is ready, it will start moving upward bringing you to the space. The whole journey is silent and no shaking unlike if you board a rocket or spacecraft.

We already have rocket, why we still need a space elevator?

"Instead of selling standard cable products, we are looking at manufacturing cables according to customers' individual needs, giving it a more personalised touch," managing director Tan Kok Hong said.

He said this entails coming up with new products such as fire- resistant and automotive cables that will bring in higher margin to the company as well.

Meanwhile, Tan said while a slowdown in the global economy seems to be expected, it has yet to feel the impact of it.

"We feel that our presence overseas puts us in a much better position to weather through a slowdown should it happen," he said.

Tan said the company currently has a 50 per cent market share of the local oil and gas cable industry, which it entered into six years ago.

Besides cables and wires, Universal Cable also manufactures aluminium rods.

The company operates three plants in Johor Baru.

Around 90 per cent of its revenue comes from the production of cable and wires, with most of its cables used for the power industry.

Now we go to some serious stuff, that is what makes me to choose this share at this current bearish market??
1. I always tell myself to only choose company which has a solid fundamental. The recent bull market has actually resulted in bunches of share which are undervalued. Leader is among one of those share that has been oversold by the market. This share has been in the watch list of some major stock broking company such as OSK, Standard & Poor’s , JF Apex Securities Bhd, ZJ Advisory and so on. Yeah, you can say that most of the time, those analysist are just bullshit. You are rite and i agree with you, but i pick up this share not because those analyst from the asshole, it is because i believe in the big potential of the company myself.

2. I have checked through the data of the company and i found nth wrong with its fundamental. its revenue and profit has been rising for the past several years. Refer to the figure below.

3. the third reason will be the simplest reason. That is this share is quite cheap. With the current price earning ration of only 4.01, it is extremely undervalued due to the recent selldown. I interpret the recent sell down as irrational as this share has minor exposure to the political uncertainty and hike in the oil price.

4. Political uncertainty does not affect this share. This company major in producing electric and telephone cable. Even if our government happened to be taken over by the opposition, TNB still need to build more transmission line to support the growth of the country. Some more, this share has no relation to the rulling party, party barisan nasional.

5. TM proceed with their high speed broadband plan which costs several billions. This means they need billions ringgit of telephone and broadband cable. Again, this is going to benefit leader as Leader Universal is the largest cable producing company not only in malaysia, but also in asean.

6. A good company is not good enough if it is not expanding. Leader is currently expanding into vietnam in power generation industry. Currently, Leader own a 35-megawatt fuel oil fired diesel engine power plant in vietnam. The more exciting thing is that Leader has also signed its 2nd Power Purchase Agreement, this time to build-operate-own a 200MW coal fired power plant in the port of Sihanoukville in Cambodia. LEADER is continuing to lead the joint venture company in all the works leading to the financial close for the project.
